Crafters from New Westminster who would like to get together with others who share their interest are invited to a special event designed to provide them with the inspiration, tools and advice they need to complete their current projects.
At 100 Braid St Studios, there will be an evening of crafting in several weeks’ time. Both instructors and artists from the studio will be on hand to inspire and provide advice, and participants can even use its equipment. Coffee or tea will be provided, and those who come out can also bring along their own beverages. The vintage treasure box, which is filled with art magazines, painting supplies and more will also be available. Flyers be used to effectively promote functions such as this throughout the community.
While there is no charge to take part, donations are appreciated and will be collected at the door. Funds raised will be used to help support the studio’s Artism Program, which provides facilitated art classes for those with autism spectrum disorders and other special needs.
The evening of friendship and crafting will take place at 100 Braid St Studios, located at 100 Braid St in New Westminster, on November 9. All those who are interested in participating are asked to register ahead of time through its Eventbrite page or by calling 778-886-5391. The event is open to those 18 years of age and older.
