Art display will offer unique works for sale

The 3rd annual Art Squared, Music Framed event is taking place over three days this May in New Westminster. It is hosted by New West Artists.

Over 150 works of art are expected to be offered for sale during the show.

All of the works submitted for the Art Squared portion must be one foot square. Artists paid an entry fee of $15 for each item up to three and $20 for four and up. The Music Framed pieces can be any size up to 36 x 36 inches, and can be of anything that is related to music. There is no fee for submission, but the organizers receive a 10% commission.

The event will kick off with an opening reception. Guests will have a chance to meet the artists and possibly gain some insight into their works.

Fans of the arts in New Westminster will probably not want to miss this event. With that in mind, organizers will likely be advertising throughout the area. Local printing companies are frequently asked to help market shows such as this by providing services like poster, flyer, or postcard printing.
