Array of events at New Westminster library this year

Patrons in the New Westminster area have a lot to look forward to this autumn, as the community library hosts a variety of public events suitable for both adults and children. Print companies will have the opportunity to advertise public events to residents through brochure printing or banner printing in New Westminster libraries.

A new presentation at the New Westminster Public Library called ‘V6A in V3M’, will explore creativity in both postal codes. Book editor Elee Kraljii will also be on site to do readings about artistic contributions from these postal codes.

For newcomers to the region, there will be drop in ESL conversational classes today, September 18, for adults to practice socializing and speaking English within the library. A language workshop will also follow, as well as an opportunity for all residents, including newcomers, to discuss local issues at a presentation to the New Westminster community.

This year, the library will also be the venue to host unique and creative exhibits, including ‘Wax Works: An Exploration in Encaustics’, which will continue until September 30. Another useful workshop at the library will be the ‘Landlord’s Toolkit’ - a workshop for apartment landlords, scheduled to take place in October. The event will no doubt be advertised in print locally nearer the time.

So many exciting events mean a variety of printing services opportunities to promote new programs at the library. Calendars and brochure printing of various weekly and monthly events can only help to promote the local exhibits and workshops at the library.
