The 12th annual Sapperton Day Street Festival will be taking place in early June.
The festival, which attracts around 12,000 visitors to the area each year, will start off with a breakfast of pancakes. There will be plenty of street performers to entertain the crowds, live music, children's games and activities, a wall specially made for rock climbing, lots of food for sale, and a marketplace.
Vendors will represent many types of business and community organizations. No doubt many will be providing samples and other free items throughout the day. New Westminster printing companies are often called on to provide these types of Promotional Products to their clients. They are usually inexpensive to produce, but can bring more attention to a company and increase brand recognition.
Organizers are still looking for volunteers to help in the smooth running of this annual festival, and those interested are encouraged to come forward.
All proceeds will go to the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation (RCHF). Last year's fair raised $13,000. The RCHF itself is a charitable organisation and raises money each year to purchase new equipment, enhance its facilities, and conduct research.
