The Delta Cup Dancesport Gala is taking place over two days next month.
The event is open to people of all ages and features world-class dance showcases in Latin and ballroom dancing. There are expected to be over 250 competitors taking part in the event both Pro/Am and Amateur, and there are also categories for juvenile and juniors. The entry fee is $25 for Pro/Am and Amateur and $15 for juvenile/junior. Competitors also have to pay the event entry fee of $25 or $75 for VIP seating. There is $6,500 in prize money to be awarded, as well as trophies.
Some of the competition divisions are Amateur Adult Silver through Open Standard, Pro/Am Ladies and Gents Single Dance Newcomer – Open Gold and Pro/Am Solo routines. In addition, a Dance Camp will be open to the public, which will feature workshops and lectures and a price of $78.75 to partake in.
The gala will likely bring out all the dance fans living in Delta. To make sure they know it is happening, organizers will likely invest in poster printing services.
