The Magic the Gathering: Grand Prix is taking place for three days at the end of this month.
Magic the Gathering is a fantasy
trading card game with approximately 20 million players worldwide. Player's trade cards in their packs of more than 60 cards; some of the cards have become quite rare and valuable to vendors.
This event will feature several Magic the Gathering artists, including Steven Belledin, Craig J. Spearing and Jesper Myrfords. There will be many game tournaments in which winners will get to pick something from the prize wall; the entry fee for most tournaments is $20.
A popular part of the Grand Prix will be the vendors’ room. They will be selling a variety of related merchandise like card packs, Books and even clothing; trading of cards will also be allowed with prior permission from the organizers.
Fans from all around the area, including those in nearby Delta, will want to know about this event. Local printing companies often provide Posters and other materials to help advertise.
The Grand Prix will be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre West from January 29 to 31; admission is $60 for all three days. The first 1500 to register will receive a playmate, promo card, boosters, a lifepad and a pen.
