The 7th annual Delta Community Animal Expo is taking place this month, helping to raise funds for the Delta Community Animal Shelter.
Many pet organizations will be on hand to showcase their programs and services. Several rescue groups are also expected to be there, including Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue. Owners will have the chance to learn more information about their pets’ health and safety.
Exotic animals such as llamas will be there, as will mini horses and farm animals. Several of the organizations participating in the expo will be offering animals for adoption.
There are also set to be games taking place for people and their dogs in the Tollie Fund activity area. While this is a free event, some of these activities come with a small fee. The Tollie Fund began in 2009 when a shelter dog named Tollie needed knee surgery in order to be adopted, and since then it has helped to provide medical care for those animals looking for homes.
To advertise fundraising events in Delta, local Print companies often provide products such as Flyers and Brochures that are then distributed in the community.
The Delta Community Animal Expo will be held at Ladner Memorial Park on August 23 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. To find out more about this event, call 604-940-7111.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Print
