By clearing away ice and snow, Delta’s Snow Angels make the season a bit easier for the senior residents of the community. An information session that can help local students and others “earn their wings” will soon be held, and it will offer an introduction to this popular offering.
The city has planned the information evening so that it will help those who are interested in the program to find out a good fit for their particular abilities and skillset. Anyone who is over the age of 13 are welcome, but those who are 17 or under will need to have the adult who will supervise them while they are volunteering come to the function along with them.
Those who attend the event will be able to ask questions, and applications, Police Information Check Forms and other paperwork will be on hand for the attendees to fill out. Volunteer credits may be available, and those who come to the session will not be asked to stay for the entire evening.
