Easter is getting closer all the time and the city of Delta is celebrating with the Easter Bunny.
To start off the celebrations, there are set to be two Breakfast with the Easter Bunny events. One will take place on March 12 at the North Delta Recreation Centre, and the next will be held at Harris Barn on March 19.
Both events include a pancake breakfast, an Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Tickets are $7 each and the breakfasts will take place both days from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Call 970-874-7566 for more information about both of these events.
Later on in the month, the Easter Parade will take place starting at Delta Museum, it will then travel down Delta Street and finish off at Memorial Park. The event is hosted by the Ladner Business Association. The parade is open to all residents and will feature the Easter Bunny and a pipe band; participants are encouraged to decorate their wagons, bikes and strollers. After the parade, there will be an egg hunt in the park.
