Delta tradition to welcome guests for another holiday season

Delta dignitaries will be serving up freshly prepped pancakes and other breakfast fare in an event that has been held in the community for many years. Everyone is invited, and a very special guest will make his grand entrance.

Breakfast with Santa promises to be a fun time for all members of the community. Those who attend can mingle with their neighbours, and the servers for the day may just be a local MLA, MP or even the city’s mayor.

While the guests enjoy mingling over their meal, many will be anticipating the arrival of Santa. Mr. Claus will be chauffeured to the celebration in one of the cruisers used by the Delta police force, and it with its flashing lights and siren, it tends to be one of the most popular parts of the event.

The planners of the activity have put out a call for volunteers, as their efforts are a vital part of making the breakfast a memorable meal for all the diners. A printing services company will also be able to lend a hand, and can supply the organizers of this sort of annual function with a full selection of printed items.

This year’s Breakfast with Santa has been scheduled for December 7 in the Ladner Community Centre, with the man himself arriving at around 8:30 am. Anyone who would like to volunteer or act as a sponsor for the occasion can find additional information on the Ladner Business association’s website.
