Anyone from Delta and the surrounding area who likes getting around on two wheels may want to save the date for a special upcoming activity.
The Southlands Bike Sale was such a popular event that its organizers decided to bring it back for 2023. Along with the chance to score a new bicycle to ride, the attendees will be able to sit in on a repair and maintenance tutorial, spin the prize wheel and watch skills demonstrations. Excited riders can even put their skills to the test in an obstacle course. All are welcome for this special event.
To get involved, members of the public can drop off their bikes, for which they will be given a complimentary check by a bike mechanic supplied by Back Pedal Bike Co. The bikes can be dropped off during the two days preceding the sale; all of the monies raised will be returned to the sellers.
Organizers of pop-up events like swap meets, sales and craft markets may find that working with a local banner printing company will ensure they have the marketing materials they need to make the most of the occasion. There's lots of styles available, including reusable types that may be quite budget friendly.
The Southlands Bike Sale will open its gates at 10am on Saturday, April 15. The bikes can be dropped off on April 13th and 14th. The venue is located at 6333 Market Avenue in Delta.
