For thousands of years, Burns Bog has helped to keep the local water table clean while offering a home to many plants and animals, and local golfers have been asked to extend a helping hand to the site.
It is almost time for the 7th annual Burns Bog Conservation Foundation’s Golf Tournament, and it will welcome supporters at the Delta Golf Course. The theme for the occasion will be “Nine and Dine”, and as Covid-19 prevention measures will be followed, the participants can enjoy themselves safely.
Each registrant will be treated to a day out in the fresh air on the golf course, and they will be offered the use of a powered cart. A barbecue lunch, along with beverages, will be served, and its silent online auction will offer a way for the participants to snag some special prizes while offering additional support to the cause. The entry fee is $95, and the final date to register is July 17th.
Golf events like this offer a not-for-profit group a socially distanced way to fund raise, and they also tend to be quite popular. Corporate Gifts can be prepared to offer as prizes for the top players, and they may also be a good choice to offer as swag to the registrants.
Participants in the Burns Bog Conservation Foundation’s Golf Tournament will hit the course July 24th. The organizers wish to thank the local corporate community for its generous sponsorship efforts.
