Delta short course planned for beginner bee keepers

Bee keeping has been practiced since ancient times, and was a major source of sweetener and wax for candles and other purposes for many years. Today, more people are discovering that it can be a fun and rewarding hobby, and a Delta workshop will offer an introduction to the apiary.

The beginner bee keeping class will give budding apiarists a chance to get their feet wet and find out if it’s a hobby that’s suited to them. It’s being offered by Urban Bee Supplies, and will teach how to safely care for a hive of bees, even in the heart of a city.

As the workshop is intended for beginners, it will address the topic of bee keeping from the ground up. The organizers explained that their goal is to give people the confidence needed to find success with their hive and its residents and create a colony that is productive.

Offering this sort of learning opportunity can be fun for both organizers and students alike, especially if facilitators have a passion for their work. Supplying learners with Promotional Products that can be useful to them can help them get off to a good start, and these can be obtained from area Print shops.

Urban Bee Supplies will be holding this short course on March 21st and 22nd. It can be found at 6721 Ladner Trunk Road.
