Delta session to explore educational careers

Educational assistants and other paraprofessionals serve an important function in many Delta schools, and those who are considering the career for themselves may want to be on the list of attendees for an upcoming information session.

The online event, which has been organized by the Delta School District, will provide information and answer questions about the community’s Teaching Assistant Certification program. Everyone who would like to take part will need to register ahead of time, and once they have completed the signup process, they will be sent a link to follow that will allow them to join in the session.

During the two-hour long activity, the participants will be given details about the certification program, as well as its structure and schedule. The process of applying for the program will be reviewed, and a panel of speakers will share their insights. The goal is to help members of the public decide if it is a good career fit for them, and there are enough spaces for up to 40 people to attend.

Along with hosting an event like this, school board administrators may wish to consider sending out information packages that contain pamphlets to any participants who request one. These types of materials can be prepared by a local brochure printing company.

This online information session will welcome the public on February 8th. It will begin at 7:00pm.
