Delta market to show love to small businesses
A market series that is set to delight Delta shoppers this summer recently announced its schedule of dates.
The Ladner Village Market gives local growers, makers and other small businesses a chance to connect with members of the public. It will be welcoming sellers from across British Columbia, and it will be open for six hours on each day.
The location for these activities will be 5028A 48th Avenue, and they will be held rain or shine. Produce, meats, crafts and other handmade items will all be in the mix, and there may even be fresh flowers. At least 160 different small businesses are expected, and the planners have explained that these functions follow a “make it, bake it, grow it” philosophy.
To help offer value to those who stop by, the planners are seeking additional vendors. Each successful applicant can reserve a space starting at 10 feet by 10 feet, and they will need to provide their own table, chairs, and canopy. A printing services company can craft awnings that may be suitable for an outdoor function such as this one, and they can be printed with a unique graphic design so they stand out from the crowd.
The 2023 Ladner Village Market will be supporting its small businesses on June 11th and 25th, July 9th and 23rd, and August 13th and 17th, with it then drawing to a close on September 10th. More details and a vendor application form can be found online.
