Whether they swim, slither, walk or fly, Delta’s pets will be taking pride of place during a special community celebration.
The Delta Community Animal Expo will bring some extra fun to mid-August. It is on the way for Ladner Memorial Park, and the funds raised will be used to support programmes that make animals in local shelters healthier and therefore more likely to be adopted.
This all-ages event is open to any animal enthusiast, and it will be filled with information, vendor tables and lots of resources that may be helpful to them. There will be games, food and a chance to meet some animals indeed of a loving home. Admission is free, and it will run, rain or shine, for five hours. Any dogs must be leashed and under their owners’ control at all times.

Ladner Memorial Park is set to welcome this salute to area pets on Sunday, August 13th. It will kick off at 10:00 am, and the fun will keep on going until it draws to a close at 3:00 pm.
