A well-thought out, measured plan can be a valuable asset to have in times of emergency, but not everyone is prepared should a disaster occur. A Delta workshop taking place next month aims to change that.
The workshop is called “Are You Prepared?” and is a free class for those aged 18 and older. The class will discover how easy it can be to be ready for almost any crisis, whether it’s small or large. This can give an individual peace of mind, and can also be an important component of building a strong community.
During the session, learners will find out about the options open to them when preparing for disaster or an emergency situation. If someone who knows what to do in certain situations, then this can help to prevent panic. Attendees will also learn how to identify risks, which can be helpful in keeping an emergency from happening in the first place.
Participants in this sort of activity often share what they have learned with others. A printing services company will be able to offer many different materials for classes such as this from note pads to printed Brochures.
Delta will be hosting its “Are You Prepared?” workshop on February 27th. The Arctic Room at the South Delta Recreation Centre will be the venue for this event.Get a Free Quote for Brochures
