The Tsawwassen Sun Festival is taking place at the end of this month, offering BC Day weekend entertainment.
The festival will have lots of activities that should appeal to people of all ages. The Lions Club will be offering a pancake breakfast; tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children aged 12 and under. There is also set to be a slo-pitch tournament, a skateboard competition and bingo games.
BC Day, August 1, will feature the most activities. A parade hosted by the Rotary Club will travel down 56th Street beginning at 11:00 am. There is also a Home and Garden Show, which is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and will offer lots of advice and products for homeowners. In addition, a Kids Fun Zone will offer rides and games, with a pass priced at $10.
The 3rd annual Classic Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show will also take place. More than 250 vehicles are expected to be on hand. Registration fees are $25 and proceeds go towards breast cancer research. Vendor spaces are also available for $10.
Those participating in the parade might invest in Signs or Banners from Delta Print companies to let spectators know who they are.
