Delta artists to gather for local creator sale
The annual For the Love of Art Show and Sale will be returning to the Delta area this November, aiming to highlight the work of local creators.
The festival, now in its seventh year, gathers artists and artisans from communities like Delta, Ladner and Tsawwassen. Work will be on display for free viewing, and will also be available for purchase. Featured artists include the returning Stephanie Graves, painter Haike Tremblay, and landscape artist Mel Anderson.
Musical accompaniment for the show will be provided by Dan Lonsdale and other local musicians. There will also be food and drink provided by area vendors. The annual show is organized by local artist Jan Rankin, with promotional material describing the event’s goal as:
The sale will also feature a 50/50 fundraiser to help support REACH Child and Youth Development, a nonprofit organization that works with the families of special needs children in Delta and surrounding areas. Art shows and festivals like this often use marketing methods like flyer printing and image-based social media that can help showcase the visual appeal of artwork.
The 2025 edition of For the Love of Art will take place on November 1 and 2 at Harris Barn in the South Delta area.
