As many business people will attest, networking is one of the most important things a business owner can do to ensure the growth and success of his or her business. It is essential that a business owner attend at least one networking event each month where they can spread the word about the products and services they can provide. Local printing companies help with that goal; they will work with you to design and create important networking tools such as Business Cards and Brochures.
With networking in mind, the British Columbia Printing and Imaging Association is presenting a two-part breakfast seminar entitled Business Networking Techniques that Work: How to Build Better Connections. The seminar is based on a book by Donna Willon, Kris Bovay and Lorne Patterson and will be presented by Ms Willon and Ms. Bovay. The breakfast takes place at Langara Golf Course in Vancouver on October 6 and October 13; breakfast begins at 7:30 and the seminar takes place from 8-10. Costs to members of the BCPIA is $99 each member or $89 for 3 or more members from the same company and for non-members the price is $125 or $115 for 3 or more from the same company; the cost includes two breakfasts and a copy of the book.
The seminar will help you to develop your personal networking strategies, teach you how to win good referrals and how you can increase your sales. The training will be hands-on and is intended to give you a “clear roadmap to improve the results of the time and money” that you invest in building your network. It would be well worth the travel time for those businesses based in nearby communities such as Delta and New Westminster to attend the seminar and learn these secrets.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Brochures
