The Kaleidoscope Arts Festival is taking place next month in Coquitlam. It is a presentation of KIA West.
The festival is a showcase of all kinds of art including dance, storytelling, circus performers and, of course, music. Those performing at this year’s festival will include Bif Naked, Jennifer Hayes, The Paperboys, Derrival and The Matinee. Other types of performers are set to include the V’ni Dansi’s Riel Metis Dancers and The Big Topp Show. Also taking place is the Red Ball Show and Workshop, which will be led by juggler Dianna David.
There will be an artisan’s market where vendors will be selling their unique, handmade items such as jewelry, ceramics, pottery and paintings.
There will also be food trucks and craft beer. In addition, there will be plenty of children’s activities.
This event is a good opportunity for Coquitlam artists and musicians who want to become better known in the community. Many of them may invest in items such as pop up Banners to bring attention to their booths. Some may also hand out Postcards and other advertising materials to people who stop by to talk to them.
The Kaleidoscope Arts Festival will be held at Town Centre Park on August 12 from 2:00 to 10:00 PM. For the most current information about planned entertainment, visit the official event Facebook page.
