The Caribbean Days Festival will be returning to Coquitlam this month, aiming to highlight tropical tastes and culture.
Festivities will kick off with a multicultural parade followed by an opening ceremony, reflecting the diverse traditions represented. The procession will feature colourful costumes and lively music. Children and families can be part of the parade and take part in the Caribbean Days Cup soccer tournament.
The festival will include music and other stage entertainment featuring Caribbean styles and instruments like steel drums. Headlining the two nights of entertainment will be Toronto’s Moses Revolution and Trinidadian soca artist Benjai. Other performers include the Toronto Allstarz Tassa Drum Band, the Sonora Latin Band and Phase III Steelband. There will be a separate Back Yard in the Beer Garden stage, featuring DJs and alternative sounds.
Caribbean Days is also known for its array of food and drink vendors, offering cuisine from Jamaica, Cuba, Barbados and other islands. There will be a sitewide beer garden for enjoying craft beer from vendors like Mariner Brewing Co. There will also be a craft market featuring items like clothing, jewellery and trinkets. Vendors at markets and festivals like this one often use Business Cards and promotional items to better reach customers.
The 2026 Caribbean Days Festival will take place at Town Centre Park in Coquitlam on July 25 and 26.
