Coquitlam to host job fair

The Tri-Cities Job Fair will take place in Coquitlam this September, looking to highlight employment opportunities in the region.

The fair will cover the Tri-Cities area of Coquitlam, Port Moody and Port Coquitlam. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet in person with recruiters and local employers, learning more about opportunities and what skills they are looking for. Participating companies include BC Ferries, Kozak Ukrainian Food, and Vancity Credit Union. Other industries represented include retail, healthcare, and skilled trades.

WorkBC clients and people with disabilities will be able to get early access to the fair and employers an hour before doors officially open. Visitors to job fairs like this typically use CV and business card printing to prepare. Advertising for the Fair highlights the diversity of jobs and industries available:

“Whether you're looking for your first job, considering a career change, or returning to the workforce this is your chance to connect with local employers who are actively hiring.”

The Job Fair is organized by WorkBC Centres as part of their effort to connect unemployed and underemployed people with opportunities. The organization also hosted a Youth Job fair earlier in the year.

The 2026 edition of the Tri-Cities Job Fair will take place at the Evergreen Arts building in Coquitlam on the afternoon of September 29. Attendance is free, but participants are asked to register in advance.
