The event will include a traditional egg hunt, with children searching for hard-boiled eggs across Blue Mountain Park. The event will also include a carnival area with live animals, costumed characters, and more. The event will be hosted by “Peter Rabbit” and include holiday-themed crafts and games.
There will be three different two-hour windows for egg hunting on both days of the weekend-long Carnival. Children will be sorted by age into the appropriate group and time, and can win prizes and candy along the way. Organizers have promised new surprises for this year.
The Egg Hunt is hosted by the Wonderland Party event organizing company, which hosts other events such as “Snow Queen” in the Metro Vancouver area as well as organizing private children’s parties. Holiday events like this often use banner printing and live entertainment to create a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. Advertising for the event emphasizes holiday fables:
“Peter Rabbit and his friends invite all little hunters for new adventures. Cute funny animals are working happily to prepare Outdoor Easter Carnival games and festive Easter crafts, as well as many other activities for you!”
The 2026 Easter Egg Hunt and Animals Carnival will take place at Blue Mountain Park Scout Hall on April 5 and 6.
