The first annual Celebration Gala will be taking place next month in Coquitlam. The event celebrates the fact that the Tri-City Transitions Society has been serving
the community for the past 40 years.
Those attending the gala will enjoy a sit-down dinner and live musical entertainment. There will be disco dancing and lessons for those who want to learn the popular disco dances, a contest for the best disco costume, and live and silent auctions. There are also raffles and door prizes expected to be handed out.
The Tri-City Transitions Society provides services to the communities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody. It serves approximately 1,500 men, women and children who have suffered from domestic abuse each year. Some of the services they provide to those people are residential homes, counseling, victim assistance and community outreach.
Coquitlam printing companies are often asked to help provide advertising products or Invitations to help events like this be successful; these items can be distributed by the organizers or sometimes even by the printing company directly.
The Celebration Gala will be held at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam on September 11 beginning at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $75 each and include one drink.
