The BMO Saccomaniacs Agriculture for Autism charity golf tournament and tradeshow is taking place in Coquitlam next month, and will be a fundraiser for the Pacific Autism Family Centre.
The tournament has raised over $195,000 across seven years, and the goal for 2016 is to beat last year’s $225,000.
Fees are $300 per player or $1,100 for four, and include 18 rounds of golf, on-course games and contests, and a gift bag for each person. They also include breakfast, lunch, on-course snacks, a cocktail reception and dinner. There will be awards handed out at dinner, as well as a live auction and raffle.
In addition to the golf game, there will be approximately 30 tradeshow booths set up by local businesses. Some will be providing food and drink samples to those who stop by to check them out.
Sponsorships are still available for purchase from $500 up to $10,000. Local businesses are also encouraged to donate items to the auction.
For fundraising events such as this that provide gift Bags, local Print companies will often be asked to provide Promotional Products such as Pens or money-off coupons.
The golf tournament will be held at the Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club on August 14 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Tickets for the reception and dinner only are $125 each. Contact Dawn Donahue at 604-628-9547 for more information.
