The Sharing our Unique Cultures fair is taking place this July in Coquitlam.
The multicultural event, which is to be presented by the City of Coquitlam, the Evergreen Cultural Centre, the Glen Pine 50 Plus Society, and S.U.C.C.E.S.S., is set to feature three hours of live entertainment, musical performances, and dancing.
Some of the cultural groups that will be represented at this year's fair hail from China, South Asia, South America, Polynesia, and Korea. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn all about those cultures by watching the performances, seeing traditional costumes, finding out about organizations in the community that promote multiculturalism, and talking to other attendees. There will also be door prizes to be awarded during the event and plenty of activities to keep the children busy.
This event should attract a large number of Coquitlam residents who are from the participating countries, as well as those who just want to learn more about the cultural background of their neighbors. Organizers may decide to distribute Flyers obtained from local printing companies to help inform the community about this upcoming event quickly and inexpensively.
The Sharing our Unique Cultures multicultural fair will be held in Spirit Square at the Glen Pine Pavilion on July 28 from 11:00am until 2:00pm. Admission is free. To find out more about the day's activities, contact Glen Pine Pavilion at 604-927-6940.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
