Coquitlam session to help build better resums

An online workshop scheduled for Coquitlam Library is intended to help registrants take their resume to the next level, and registration is now open for anyone who would like to take part.

Those who participate in the web-based training will discover tips and tricks for crafting a polished resumé, and the presenter for the activity will be a WorkBC Employment Specialist. Registration is mandatory to be included in the event.

The facilitator will introduce a variety of different resumé styles, and explain which ones may be the best fit for a particular employer or potential employee’s background and skillset. The group will discuss ways to grab and keep the reader’s attention, and they can ask questions and share their own tips as well. Registration for the activity will open one month before its scheduled start date.

Stationery printers, which can be found in the local area, are often a valuable resource for job hunters. Those who take part in a workshop like this may want to contact one in their area to discuss the services it can supply.

WorkBC will be partnering with Coquitlam Public Library to host this session, and it has been scheduled for December 14. It will be offered online, and will begin at 2:00 pm shape. It is intended for adults only.
