Back by popular demand, the Greater Vancouver Food Festival is presenting the Community Block Party series.
This event has been running for the past seven years, and it is a perfect way to enjoy the spring weather and support the local community. Each year, the festival selects and hosts community block parties in various cities throughout the Lower Mainland. This year, the city of Coquitlam has been selected as one of the four locations for the series, which will be held in the month of May.
Attendees of the block party will have the opportunity to shop, dine and enjoy entertainment. Local market sellers, courtesy of BC Shop Local, will be on hand setting up shop for attendees. Local business vendors are an important hub of communities, and Business Cards can help local vendors promote their businesses.
In addition to browsing and shopping at the various market vendors, attendees can also partake in a meal. There will be more than 20 food vendors on site, giving food lovers a variety of dining options to choose from. Live music and roaming entertainment are also slated for this family-friendly, free event.
The Coquitlam Community Block Party will take place at Coquitlam Town Centre Park on Mother’s Day weekend. The party will open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7th, and from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 8th.
