Malkin House located in Coquitlam will be the location for a series of workshops this fall.
Coquitlam Heritage is a society that helps promote, preserve and show appreciation of the history of Coquitlam, and one site that it helps to run is the Malkin House, which will soon be hosting a series of events for the public to attend.
On September 28th, visitors are invited to attend a pyjama story time session presented in collaboration with the Coquitlam Public Library. All the stories will have the theme of fall. Attendees can also enjoy treats while listening to the stories. On October 8th, Malkin House will be presenting a Celebration of Gratitude. Visitors will get the chance to listen to music and poetry, with the theme of thankfulness permeating through the music and poems. On October 21st, the house will host a Halloween cupcake decorating workshop. This is a great opportunity for families to get into the Halloween spirit. Attendees are encouraged to bring a container to take home their cupcakes.
Brochure printing is one way that societies such as this one can help highlight upcoming events and activities that the local community can partake in.
