A casual networking event is on the way for Coquitlam business people and other area professionals, and this “Morning Schmooze” can be an ideal way to attain new business connections.
The Poco Inn and Suites Hotel in Port Coquitlam will be the venue for a meet-and-greet mixer. It will give members of the local Chamber of Commerce a venue where they can get to know one another, and its organizers recommend that everyone comes armed with at least 60 Business Cards to distribute to other guests.
Everyone will be treated to a buffet-style breakfast, and to help make sure that all attendees get a chance to introduce themselves, there will be speed networking rounds. The host explained that it presents a good opportunity for participants to use their elevator pitch to generate interest in their products or services, and it includes details about how to do this in the web listing it prepared for the event.
The registration fee for Chamber members is $25, and for future members, it will be $45. Registration will open at 7:15am, while the breakfast itself will start at 7:30am.
