Coquitlam residents are invited to grab a folding chair or blanket and be part of a screening of a popular comedy right in the location where it was filmed, and while they enjoy the show, they will be doing a good turn for their neighbours on need.
Admission to the screening of Happy Gilmore is by donation to the local food bank, and contributions of cash or nonperishable food items will both be welcome. Pre-registration is strongly recommended, and the event will be taking place on the Wimbledon Lawn at Swaneset Bay resort and Country Club.
