Coquitlam holiday night market to return

The Coquitlam Christmas Night Market will be open for business this December, looking to connect holiday shoppers with local businesses.

The event will feature dozens of local vendors across three nights. There will be artisans offering gift items as well as food trucks and live musical performances by area artists. Confirmed vendors include Mel’s Misc Makes, Sweet Legs New West, and Coconut Candle Company. Vendors at markets like this often use Promotional Products and sales to help connect with customers.

A portion of the admission fees will go towards local charities, while children 16 and under will get in free. The market is located next to the Lights at LaFarge holiday lights display, with visitors encouraged to get in their last-minute holiday shopping and lights viewing at the same time. Promotional material encourages shopping lovers to:

“Send your family to walk the lake and enjoy the lights while you do a little bit of R & R with some shopping therapy.”

This is the fifth annual edition of the event, which is hosted by Betty Bakes and 604 Craft Markets. The event aims to combine holiday shopping with the Asian “night market” tradition, with the aim of appealing to those who can’t make other markets during working hours.

The 2025 Coquitlam Christmas Night Market will take place on the evenings of December 12, 13 and 20 at Evergreen Cultural Centre.
