Autumn has arrived, and gardeners all over Coquitlam are finishing up their fall chores and putting their garden to bed for the winter. The Inspiration Garden will be celebrating the season with a day of fun for area green thumbs, and it will all have a horticultural theme.
The Fall Garden Fair will be an event that will give local gardeners a chance to meet others who share their love of plants. The whole family can enjoy the activities, and since there is no charge to take part, it can be an idea for a free afternoon of fun for the whole family.
Those who attend the autumn celebration will be invited to learn about apples at the tasting station, and all ages can burn off some energy when they participate in the pumpkin smash. A tractor climb and light brigade have also been planned, and the grownups in the group can sit in on a planter design workshop.
The planners of the activity explained that it will be held rain or shine, and since it will be held outdoors, the attendees should dress for the weather. Hot beverages will be on offer, and a banner printing company can be called upon to provide signage and other items that can make this type of community celebration even more fun for everyone.
Inspiration Garden, which is situated at the corner of Pipeline Road and Guildford Way, will be hosting its 2019 Fall Garden Fair on October 26. It will remain open from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
