The Coquitlam Craft & Ales Festival will return this February, providing a sampling of local drinks as well as food and music.
The show will feature a wide variety of drinks, including ale, craft beer, wine and other local spirits, with many favourite brands returning from prior editions of the festival. Unlike other craft beer festivals, the Coquitlam event will not feature a token system, with the ticket price including all food and drink samples. Food will be provided by Chef Mario of the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club, with tacos and other favourites on the menu, while the live music will feature the Canyon Riders, returning from a previous edition of the festival.
The event will be running shuttles between the venue and the Lafarge Lake/Douglas Skytrain station, allowing for participants to travel safely. Proceeds from ticket purchases will go to the Kidsport Tri-Cities charity, which provides opportunities for youth to participate in recreational sports in the Coquitlam area.
Craft beer brands showcased at events like this often use clever names and professional Logo Design services to help stand out from the major breweries. The organizers will be looking to build momentum to the larger Coquitlam Beer Festival later in the year.
The 2025 Coquitlam Craft & Ales Festival will take place on the evening of February 22 at the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club. It is a strictly 19+ event, with photo ID required for entry.
