Just like the body, a person’s mind can sometimes need emergency care, and a workshop will teach Coquitlam residents how they can come to the rescue and help build resilient individuals and communities that can handle stress well.
The Red Cross has developed its Psychological First Aid program to give individuals the skills needed to provide help and assistance to those who are coping with mental health issues. At the same time, it will also teach ways they can be proactive when it comes to their own mind. The certification will be valid for three years, and will be recognized across the country.
The format for the training will be divided into two sections. The first will take place online and the second will be in the classroom. The virtual learning will include reviews and self-tests, and when both components have been successfully completed, students will be able to download and Print a copy of the certificate of completion.
As the people who participate in this sort of activity often share what they have learned with others, and event like this can be an important part in building resilient and supportive communities. A brochure printing company will be able to craft materials that explain to the public why the training can be valuable.
The public are encouraged to register for this course, which will be held on September 25th. The classroom section of the course will be held at the Coquitlam Training Centre.Get a Free Quote for Print
