Coquitlam cyclists are welcome to join in a ride that will showcase some of the area's most beautiful scenery.
The excursion will follow a route that loops from The Gillnetter Pub, and the riders will be treated to views of both the Pitt and Coquitlam Rivers. The speed will be set at approximately 15km so that everyone can enjoy the landscape and get to know one another.
The 25km route is described as easy to cycle, and will include flat forest trails. Everyone who participates will be invited to enjoy a post ride lunch at The Gillnetter Pub, and registration is highly recommended. Attendees are reminded to make sure their bike has all the necessary safety equipment such as a bell, lights and reflectors, and also that it be in working condition with fully inflated tires.
An activity of this type gives those who register an opportunity to meet others who share their interests. A banner printing company can prepare reusable signage that can be posted along the route of an event like this to help the cyclists make sure they stay on course.
The excursion to Port Coquitlam will be heading out at 10:30am on January 15th. The organizers have explained that the group will meet up in the park across from the pub before they hit the road.
