Canada’s flower growers contribute a significant amount each year to the country’s agricultural economy and a Chilliwack celebration plans to recognize the importance of this sector.
Quik’s Farm will be hosting a showcase of local farming, and it will put flower growers front and centre. The four courses of fare will be prepared by area chefs, and appetizers and dessert are also on the menu, as is B.C. wine and beer.
The guests will be invited to stop by the flower crown bar so they can craft their own piece of floral head wear, and they can each take home some blossoms as well. Music will provide an elegant atmosphere, and a tour of the operation hosting the function will also be on offer to attendees, so they can learn more about the area’s flower growing industry from the inside out.
Tickets for this celebration are $100, and a cash bar will be available. A banner that fits into the overall theme of an event can be prepared ahead of an occasion like this by a banner printing company based in the local area.
March 14th will be the date for this instalment of the Petal and Plates Flower Farm Dinner series. The farm that will host the function is located at 11115 McSween Road.
