Competitive horse event gallops into Chilliwack

The upcoming Mane Event, Equine Education, and Trade Fair will take place at Heritage Park and looks perfect for everyone who is interested in horses, especially those interested in equine competitions.

There will be clinics for riders on offer, including ones on trick training, dressage, and reining. There will also be demonstrations of such skills as dressage, barrel racing, horsemanship, and jumping.

A competition entitled ‘The Trainer's Challenge’ will have three top trainers competing against each other in various skills, with those competing being Dan Steers from Australia, Kyle Mills from British Columbia, and Wylene Wilson from Arizona. The Saturday Night Equine Experience, meanwhile, will be showcasing some of the most skilled horse riders.

Exhibitors will also be selling their wares at the trade fair. Items will include dressage supplies, fencing, grooming supplies, photography services, and custom saddles. Several professional associations will also be in attendance to spread the word about their organizations, who will no doubt be working with Chilliwack printing companies to prepare for the trade fair. Those who want to make sure their booth is seen might consider investing in banner printing services, since a colorful banner hung over a booth is sure to garner more attention than one without.

The fair will be held from October 19 – 21, beginning at 9:00 am each day. Tickets are $15 for adults (or $40 for three days) and $10 for youth (or $25 for three days), while children aged six and under are admitted free. For more information, call Gail at 250-578-7518.
