The annual Fraser Valley Classic Car Show is coming back to Chilliwack this July. It is hosted by the Great Canadian Oil Change.
The show is for cars from 1979 and earlier. It is free for car owners to register and only 125 will be accepted; the cars must be in mint condition in order to be considered.
The cars will be placed in categories from A to H. These categories include Domestic, Import up to 1959, and Domestic 1951-1960. Winners will be chosen in each category and in People's Choice. The winner of the latter will be featured on the poster for next year's show. One other category in the event is Premium Class, which is made up of all of the 1st place winners from the last two years.
In addition to enjoying the variety of classic cars, visitors can also buy some food from Granny's Kitchen and visit the Atchelitz Treshermen's Association museum.
Those who organize the show no doubt advertise it widely in Chilliwack. This might mean outsourcing for services like flyer and poster printing from local specialists.
The Fraser Valley Classic Car Show will be held at the Atchelitz Treshermen's Association on July 20th, from 10:00am - 4:00pm. Admission is free. To learn more about the event, visit the official website.
