Chilliwack gardeners welcome to explore annual plant sale

For many Chilliwack gardeners, the annual Gwynne Vaughan Park Plant Sale is a must-attend event for the spring season. It will soon be making its return, and it can be a time for area green thumbs to snag some new plants.

This horticultural pop up will include small fruit plants such as Bluecrop and Duke blueberries, and there will be a variety of different plants available for purchase. At least 30 businesses have signed up to be a part of the day, and these range from horticultural specialists to crafters and even food vendors.

While members of the public browse through the trees, herbs, shrubs, perennials and other plants on offer, they can enjoy the live music and a bite to eat. There will be garden decor on display, and cash, debit/credit cards and e-transfers will all be accepted Forms of payment.

As well as the plants and hard garden goods, there will also be both conventional and organic fertilizers on offer, both of which can get newly installed plantings off to a great start. Plant tags, Packaging supplies and other items for this sort of occasion can be prepped by area Print shops, and these can help to make an event like this to run smoothly.

The 24th annual Gwynne Vaughan Park Plant Sale is scheduled to welcome the gardening public on June 6th. It will be held at 46181 Hope River Road.
