When people think of luxury cars, Porches are often on the list, and a Burnaby area celebration will give those who own one of these vehicles a chance to show off their pride and joy.
This year marks the 15th year for the Dundarave Porsche Show and Ride, and it will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s chapters in BC and the Yukon. The suggested donation for the day is $30 or more, and anyone who contributes at least $50 will receive a tax slip they can use when preparing next year's return.
Those who register for the day will kick off the morning with a breakfast Show and Shine, and all Porsche owners are welcome, whether they are club members or not. The plan is to raise even more money by offering rides by donation during the Porsche Parade, which will wind its way up Cypress Mountain at the end of the day.
The number of spaces on offer for this year's event is very limited. Registrants will have their name entered in a door prize draw. Poster printing can be an effective promotional tool for fundraising events like this.
