Burnaby cat lovers are welcome to be among the crowd at an area event that will be filled with fun and felines.
This August, Meowfest will be celebrating the cats that call the Greater Vancouver area home. It is billed as being the largest cat-themed festival in the country, and as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to local animal rescues, the attendees will be doing a good turn for pets that can use a helping hand.
The day, which will be one of a series of funding and awareness raisers hosted across Canada, will boast lots to see and do. There will be many pet-themed vendors on site, and there will be a variety of opportunities to learn more about cat care. The attendees will have a chance to mix and mingle with the animal lovers, and all ages are welcome. Anyone who would like to add a new member to their family will be able to do so when they stop by the adoption information area, and they may even be able to meet cats that are looking for a home to call their own.
Planning community events may be made a lot easier with assistance from a banner printing company. It will be able to supply everything from decor to vendor contracts.
The 2022 instalment of Meowfest will be giving cats their day in the sun on August 20th. The Rocky Mountaineer Station event space will be the venue for the celebration.
