Gaming convention is coming to Burnaby

The Terminal City Tabletop Convention is taking place for two days in Burnaby this spring.

The convention is dedicated to board, role-playing, and collectible card games. There are going to be tournaments involving franchises such as Star Wars and Pokemon, and new, unpublished games available to play in "proto-alley". There is expected to be a library of over 120 games available to play during the event. Other activities will include party games hosted by The Functionals.

There is also going to be a unique silent auction taking place. Attendees are asked to bring items they wish to sell. They are then charged $1 for each item they place in auction, and receive the full price of what it sells for at the end.

Those developers who are showcasing their games in proto-alley will no doubt want to capture as much attention as possible. This might include decorating their table with Banners or Posters to stand out from the others, and Burnaby Stationery printers are frequently asked to provide such products.

The Terminal City Tabletop Convention will be held at the Firefighters' Banquet and Conference Centre from May 31st to June 1st. A weekend pass is $35 in advance or $40 at the door; Saturday only is $20 or $25, and Sunday costs $15 or $20. Visit the Facebook page for more information.
