The residents of Burnaby are preparing for a month of family fun with two festivals taking place in the area in August.
The first of which, the Kensington Community Fair, is a presentation of the North Burnaby Community Association, the City of Burnaby, and Volunteer Burnaby. It will feature musical entertainment, face painting stands, craft workshops, games, a barbecue, and displays from various community groups. This annual event is known to offer a range of activities to suit those of all ages.
The Willingdon Community Fair will also be taking place next month. This celebration will involve carnival games, raffles, live entertainment, community displays, and food vendors. Visitors will also be able to tour the Community Centre, which offers, among other things, a weight room, cardio equipment and a games area. It should be a great event for those new to the area as there will be plenty of opportunities to mingle.
It's very likely that those who are planning to provide displays at both fairs will be working with Burnaby printing companies to prepare. This might include investing in brochure and banner printing services.
The Kensington Community Fair will take place at Kensington Park on August 10 from 10:00am - 3:00pm. Admission is free. For more information about the event, call 604-294-7450.
Willingdon's Community Fair will be held on August 15 from 5:00 - 8:00pm at the Willingdon Community Centre. Admission is also free for this event; for more information, call 604-297-4526.
