A workshop that will be taking place in Burnaby in early April is to offer advice and tips to help employers keep their businesses and their employees safe in terms of employment laws.
David Turner, who is a member of a local legal firm that works in civil litigation and employment law, will be the selected presenter for the session, and the is no fee to attend. Pre-event registration is required, however, and this is now open to anyone who is interested in signing up.
During the hour and a half long presentation, the presenter will offer a review of the Employment Standards Act and its regulations surrounding issues like vacation, termination and hours paid. It will be offered at the Burnaby Public Library’s Bob Prittle Metrotown Branch, and it’s start time will be 7:00pm.
