Burnaby welcomes return of Halloween fun

A Burnaby venue will be offering lots of thrills and chills this Halloween season during one of the city’s signature events, and local families are on the guest list.

Burnaby’s Central Park will be the location for the city’s annual Halloween celebration, and admission will be free. It is geared towards families, and the occasion has been dubbed “Central Spark".

Those who attend will be able to take in musical entertainment supplied by a DJ, and they will be encouraged to get up and show off their best dance moves. Food trucks will be on hand, and there will be lots of other spooky fun on offer as well. Parents can snap photos of all the excitement, and the festivities will be capped off by a fireworks show once the sun goes down.

Communities often hold special events during the Halloween season, and organizers that utilize custom themed decor can add an extra spooky touch to their celebration. A poster printing company will be happy to help supply such decor.

The 2025 Central Spark evening will be on offer on October 24th. An accessibility drop off location for the function will be along Olive Avenue, and documented service animals are welcome. The celebration will start at 6:00 pm, and everyone who would like to get their Halloween started is welcome to wear a costume.
