Burnaby Village Museum sets summer schedule
A Burnaby venue that seeks to make learning the area's history a whole lot of fun will soon be opening for another season, and it has lots on offer for all ages and interests.
Burnaby Village Museum has scheduled its opening date for 2025, and the 10-acre venue will be open each week from Tuesday to Sunday as well as statutory holidays. Anyone who has questions can call 604-297-4565, and each day will run from 11:00 am until 4:30pm.
The venue will be filled with historic exhibits to explore, and there will also be costumed interpreters and docents providing demonstrations and additional information. The Burnaby Lake General Store will be open and preparing freshly roasted coffee beans. Everyone can try their hand at a game of Mahjong, which will be offered at the Way Sang Yuen Wat Kee herbalist shop. The blacksmith shop will be open, and visitors can bring a basket filled with picnic fare or purchase their lunch at Mai’s Cafe.
