The Holy Cross Christmas Market will take place at Holy Cross Church across two days in mid-November. The market will feature over 40 tables with vendors selling such items as Christmas ornaments, wreaths and other decorations, toys, preserves, handmade arts and crafts, baked goods, and jewelry.
Children at the event will be entertained by face painting, while a raffle, homemade apple pies, games, and a Christmas café will keep things ticking over. By the time it comes round, Christmas will be barely a month away, so it will be a good opportunity for those who are still short of holiday shopping ideas to find the perfect gift for a hard-to-buy-for friend or family member. It will also be a good way to get into the holiday spirit and to spend a day out with the family.
Organizers might well be working with Burnaby printing companies to advise the community of the upcoming Christmas market. Flyer printing, for example, is reasonably inexpensive and the Flyers could be distributed in many ways, making it a very effective form of marketing for events like this.
The market will be present on November 17 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and on November 18 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Admission is free and more information can be found by calling 604-299-3814.
To get Burnaby folk in an even more festive mood, Burnaby Village Museum will be running its Heritage Christmas event from November 24 right up until early January.
