Burnaby set to host BCVTA conference

Attending a conference can help British Columbia’s veterinary technologists to keep their skills current and razor sharp, and one of these events will held in Burnaby this October.

The British Columbia Veterinary Technology Association (BCVTA) will be hosting its annual conference this fall, and it promises to provide high quality programming. Several subject matter experts have already been booked to present during the event, and a trade show featuring both national and locally based vendors will also be included in the day.

Workshops related to animal care, career development and time management will all be offered during the conference, and during lunch and other breaks, the trade show will be open. It will be filled with vendors offering Promotional Products, samples and the latest updates on what they have to offer the veterinary community.

Tickets to attend the gathering start at $100, and this price will go up after September 15, so those interested may want to get tickets quickly. The attendees may qualify for up to five CE credits, and anyone who has questions or concerns has been asked to get in touch with the organizers by emailing bcvtaboard@gmail.com.

This year’s BCVTA Fall Conference and Meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, October 27 beginning at 7:30 am. It will be welcoming delegates at the Delta Burnaby Conference Centre.
